About us

Micro Flow Innovation Center (MFIC) is a multidisciplinary R&D team targeting the latest challenges in applied research. MFIC home institution is the Institute of Chemical Process Fundamentals (ICPF), Czech Academy of Sciences, a leading institution in the chemical engineering research in the Czech Republic.

Our purpose in MFIC is to provide the scientific expertise to companies that face the technological issues and cannot get the answers from their R&D departments. To serve this purpose, MFIC follows the latest trends in chemistry and chemical engineering – the continuous flow systems, microreactor technology and process intensification – resulting in innovative solutions based on the fundamental understanding of the underlying processes.
